Congratulations to Margaret Jessop and Anne MacDonald for reaching the finals at Ayr. Well done from members at the club.
Dunbar Probus Club. This year members of the club are all bowlers from dunbar bowling club.
Winners of the Murray Robinson and Lothian Probus Clubs shields.
Well done to all who participated, in what is believed to have been a very enjoyable day.

A thank you must be made to all who attended the charity race night which was recently held at the club.
A good night was had by all that attended, and lots of money was raised for charity.
A special thank you must go to all who helped with the evening, especially the bar convenor.
Without your assistance the night would not have been the success it was.
Tommy Young for reaching the finals of 'Champions of Champions' held at CastlePark Bowling Club.
It was a fine achievement making it to the finals. Tommy played exceedingly well on a wet, wet day, as did the other three finalists. Unfortunately Tommy was unable to progress, but there is always next year.
Dick Scambler,
Jim Cowan,
Dave Souness,
John Anderson.
Who are the ELBA Senior 4's Champions 2006.

Shirley Chalke and Caroline Duncan who did the club, and themselves proud, by making it to Ayr, and the ‘Scottish Womens Pairs Finals’. Unfortunately they were unable to progress to the later stages. All at the club pass on their congratulations and hope this is the start of more to come.

The mens rinks achieved a notable success and won through to the finals of the County cup held at Elphinstone Bowling Club. After a hard fought semi final they were eventually defeated by Aberlady Bowling Club. Well done to all players who took part.
A fixture was held with Doune Castle Bowling club from near Stirling, on the 20th and a good time was had by all. The drink flowed freely and the game was won by a short head by Doune Castle. Seriously, in this type of game the winning is second to having a good time with friends, and it was nice to see the new members taking part, and showing the more experienced members how the game should be played. Indications are that contact will be maintained with Doune Castle and arrangements will hopefully be put in place for Dunbar to travel to Doune in the future.
